Preparations for Snetterton well underway

Moore Racing are currently working flat out to make sure everything is prepared for the fast approaching round 2 of the Britcar championship at Snetterton on 19th & 20th of April. The team will be running two cars, the BTCC Honda Civic Type R for Rob and Paul Fenton in class 4, and the Dodge Viper GT3 for Mike Gardiner and Alex Mortimer in class 1.

The team suffered a setback after the Dodge Viper was involved in a testing shunt at Silverstone prior to the first round of the Britcar Championship last month. Since then the team have been putting in long hours to completely rebuild the Viper in readiness for the Snetterton round in a few weeks. "The Team are very professional and highly skilled and I know both the Viper and the Honda will be immaculate come the pre race test day at Snetterton" commented Rob. "I know that Richard, Tom, Keiran and Blake will ensure that both Cars will be race ready come Friday".

Rob is looking forward to his first outing in the championship and has high hopes of finished well in class. Rob, commenting on the upcoming race, said "I think with myself and Paul driving we will be aiming for a class win, barring any problems. If the weather takes a turn for the worse then we could feature quite well in the overall standings. The Honda has been developed so well by the guys at Moore Racing; I swear the thing is as quick in the wet as it is in the dry!"
